New Episode, New Website, and the Precipice of a New Year

Welcome, Brookworms!  I am so excited to connect with you here on Brook Reading's new blog/website!  Thank you so much for joining me and I look forward to the growth of the show through this new tool.  This first post has lots of information for you to digest, so let's get started!

Current Episode:  Hallmark vs. Zola In episode 78, before I sign off for the year and wish everyone gratitude, health, and love, I rant on the recent news story regarding the Hallmark Channel and the wedding planner, Zola, and their disagreement on what happy couples should look like.  😡

Last Episode:  During episode 77, I spent the majority discussing the concept that Stephen King can't write an ending to his novels, a major debate that had spurned around the release of "IT:  Chapter Two".  This was one of my most heated rants, so give it a listen if you are so inclined.  One of the links I used in my research is included below:  Science Fiction Chronicles

Next up on Brook Reading:  For the first episode of the new year, I discuss Nanowrimo, LGBTQ Horror, Siskel and Ebert's review of the "Halloween" franchise, and a really interesting story out of World War II.  Lots to look forward to, so I hope you'll join me for the ride!  Talk to you soon!  -Melissa
